After a few busy months organising the Mindful Mann Festival, I’m now dedicating time to finishing the second draft of my next book called ‘The Living Moment: A Guide to Ordinary Enlightenment’, and I hope to share some extracts with you soon.
This month I thought I’d share with you the first in a new series of videos I’m recording, which tackle some of the biggest myths and misconceptions around mindfulness, meditation and nonduality.
In this video, I explore some of the reasons people assume they can’t meditate, like having a busy mind and not being able to sit quietly for long periods of time. It’s important to remember that meditation is a practice and that a calm mind and body are the natural consequences of this practice, not the qualifications you need in order to begin.

July Mindfulness Group
My next Mindfulness Group will be on Monday 21st July at Vibe cafe, from 7pm-9pm. These drop-in sessions are designed for anyone interested in enhancing their mental fitness and wellbeing through the practice of Mindfulness and meditation, as well as those interested in embodiment and awakening.
Each session begins with a short talk followed by a 45-minute guided meditation, a tea break, and then time for discussion, questions and answers.
Price: £10 per person / £5 concessions (student, pensioner, low income)

The Art of Happiness: A Fundraising Event for The Family Library
Join me on Friday 11th July at The Family Library and explore the Art of Happiness.
I will be sharing insights from the world's wisdom traditions and exploring how we can evolve our minds, free ourselves from suffering and discover happiness here and now. This event is a fundraiser for The Family Library with all proceeds going towards The Friends of the Family Library.

Weekly Meditation Community
For those interested in Mindfulness, Embodiment, Transformation, Non-duality and Enlightenment, I have an online community where people from all over the world meet together on zoom, each Thursday evening from 7.30 pm – 9.00 pm (GMT).
Each meeting begins with a short talk, followed by a 45-minute guided meditation exploring breath, body and being, with time for questions, comments and discoveries at the end. All members receive an audio recording of each session, as well as discount options for a number of in-person and online events.
Subscription to this community is £20.00 per month (£5 per session). I’ve tried it make it as accessible as possible so people can accelerate their practice and insight, with others, in a relatively short space of time.
